Abstract
Sets out the basic framework and principles involved in the process of: determining the form of a section s278 agreement; satisfying the prerequisites of a s278 agreement; providing suitable mechanisms for cost recovery; dealing with any land conveyance necessary for dedication to public highway; how the works would be carried out; and also providing basic formats of s278 agreements with draft core documents.
