Abstract
Enacted to ensure appliances are designed and built to operate safely and present no danger to persons, domestic animals or property when used normally (as defined in the directive in relation to installation, regular servicing, use for intended purpose, gas quality, and pressure supply). Concerns appliances for cooking, heating, hot water production, refrigeration, lighting or washing.
