Abstract
Gives details for requirements and test methods and covers hoists, body-support units, mobile hoists with sling seats and with solid seats, standing mobile hoists, hoist trolleys, stationary hoists that are fixed to the wall/walls, floor and/or ceiling or that are mounted in or on another products and stationary free-standing hoists. These are all intended for the transfer of disable persons, with regard to the needs of both the disable persons being hoisted and the attendant using the hoist.
