Abstract
Research commissioned to gain a greater understanding of the level, causes and extent of work-related stress within the construction industry. Sets context and relates methodology. Conducts literature review and evaluates research results obtained through three different means (initial stakeholder consultation, surveys and qualitative interviews of construction workers). Discusses limitations of results and draws recommendations.
