Abstract

These water safety signs provide information on prohibiting actions or activities, give warn of water hazards or dangerous situations or otherwise provide specific instructions for mandatory actions. Can be used in swimming pools (both indoor and outdoor), paddling pools, harbours, docks and marinas, beaches, piers, landing stages, fishing points, bridges over water, quarries, industrial and construction sites, agricultural areas, water tanks, rivers, canals, estuaries, lakes, reservoirs and ponds.

Superseded by BS ISO 20712-1:2008. Amendment 16783 dated December 2006 - this amendment includes 12 new water safety signs.
