Abstract

Relates to the Pollution Prevention and Control (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2007. SI 2007/713. Adjusts the scope of the Pollution prevention and control (England and Wales) regulations 2000. SI 2000/1973, and removes certain appliances that use waste gases from closed landfill sites or on landfill where closure procedures have been initiated. The appliances will come under the remit of the more appropriate waste management licensing regime, under section 35 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, c43.
