Provides a summary of techniques that are often carried out inadequately, together with checklists for use at design and site stages. Intended for detached houses and bungalows, and ceilings in terraced housing. Covers site storage of boards, sequencing of operations, ceilings, walls, accuracy of masonry walls, dry-lining to masonry, and fixing to stud walls, and jointing and finishing. Does not cover prefabricated plasterboard partitions, covings, nor casings to structural steel.
