Abstract

Describes a study to obtain the views of construction stakeholders on the effectiveness of CDM 1994, and to prepare a series of key indicators of improvement in areas that affect health and safety in construction. Reviews recent trade literature and industry and government initiatives. Details twenty-five structured interviews and three workshops to discuss the factors that influence health and safety in construction.
