Abstract
Includes four worked examples for four separate Building Regulations categories of work: renovation, material alteration (its specific definition within Building Regulations is explained), material change of use (for example, a non-dwelling converted to a dwelling), and extension. Worked examples set out the different minimum U-values for walls, roofs, floors, windows for each category, with reference to the appropriate tables to help determine what is required in individual situations.
