Abstract
Discusses ground congestion, requirements to preserve archaeology, technical advancement, economic factors in energy and natural resource costs, changing economics of demolition and construction, environmental drivers supported by legislation, and the promotion of sustainability as current and future factors in the reuse of foundations in urban areas.
