Advice on ground gases within the context of residential developments, covering identification of ground gas sources, preliminary risk assessment requirements, methods for investigating ground gases and risk assessment.

In April 2024 NHBC announced their intent to withdraw support and recognition of this publication. This will not be an immediate enactment and will be subject to a transitional arrangement that will expire as of 1st July 2025. March 2007 edition. RSK Group Plc was commissioned by the National House Building Council (NHBC) to produce this report.
