Abstract
Illustrates the use of the calculation method for typical wall, roof and floor designs. Explains the principles of the combined method and may be useful as a means of selecting software for calculations and confirming its accuracy. Examples are a timber framed wall and a cavity wall with lightweight masonry leaf and insulated dry-lining. Relates to domestic and non-domestic buildings.
