Abstract

Describes the work carried out to determine how the Road Condition Indicator (RCI) reports the condition of the network and how this reflects expected behaviour. Investigates establishing benchmark values to allow performance comparisons. Presents the results of work carried out to develop methods to determine the evolution of network RCI values over time. Discusses the integration of the new parameters into the RCI and the implications for SCANNER.
