Abstract
Introduces the concept of performance-based intervention for durable concrete repairs, and summarises one of the main outputs of performance-based remediation of reinforced concrete structures (CONREPNET). Identifies contemporary practices and explains the need to change. Presents the vision for performance-based interventions (PBIs). Describes putting PBI into practice using the competition process model. Intended for owners and managers of concrete structures, and those responsible for maintaining and repairing them, and commissioning repair and remediation work.
