Abstract
In terms of design considerations, covers fault monitoring, standby amplifiers, loudspeaker zones, types of loudspeakers as well as microphones and messages, intelligibility of messages, priorities, control equipment, power supplies, cables wiring and other interconnections, fire telephones, and radio and electrical interference. For workmanship, installation and commissioning, covers work on and off site, siting and accommodation, installation of equipment, cables and wires, inspection, initial testing, commissioning and certification of systems, alterations to existing systems. Assists in the interpretation of other standards.
