Presents an overview of directly and indirectly relevant legislation, regulations and standards, including the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2006, the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 and Part E of the Building Regulations. Explains the practical implications. Highlights particular problem areas and indicates how they may be resolved. Links project stages in the RIBA Plan of Work with the most relevant of the legislation, regulations and guidance.
