Abstract
Looks at why excessive noise is a danger to teachers' health and what the effects on health are. These effects include stress and damage to hearing. Reasons for poor acoustics and steps which can be taken to improve sound insulation are covered. Also includes a section explaining action NUT safety representatives can take.
