Provides background information on the common furniture beetle, the death watch beetle, the powder post beetle, bostrychidae, house longhorn beetle, and pin-hole borers, as well as describing wood treatment measures appropriate against each of these species. Distinguishes insect pests of standing trees and converted timber.
