Abstract
Describes the new test procedures for the Wehner-Schulze (WS) test machine installed at TRL, which will assess the polishing of aggregates in road surfacings. This machine can provide alternative tests to the established Polished Stone Value (PSV) tests which have been used since the mid-1970s.
