Abstract

Comprises over seventy-five abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on an integrated and co-ordinated approach to transport planning. Includes both planning for the integration of all transport modes, integrated public transport information, ticketing and timetabling, and the inclusion of these concepts in the wider framework of land use planning, demand management and environmentally sustainable traffic policies. Case studies describing integrated transport systems already in operation are included.
