Abstract
Includes over seventy abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on the properties, assessment, test methods and applications of various types of fibre reinforcement in concrete. Abstracts are included on carbon, steel, cellulose and polymer fibres; applications include strengthening of beams, columns and slabs, shotcrete in tunnels, and structural repairs. Many abstracts examine the engineering properties of fibre reinforced concrete such as tensile and shear behaviour, fracture toughness, cracking resistance, compressive strength, fire resistance and porosity.
