Abstract
Gives requirements for construction, dimensions and mechanical and electrical properties of insulated flexible cables at the specified voltage which are intended for use with appliances and equipment in industrial or similar environments.

The provisions introduced by AMD No.2:2004 are effective from 1 April 2004. The version of this standard incorporating only amendment No.1:2002 remains current until 31 March 2006.
