Abstract

Relates to the Town and country planning (general permitted development) (amendment) (no.2) (England) order 2008. SI 2008/2362, which amends the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (“GPDO”). It substitutes a new Part 1 of Schedule 2 which confers permitted development rights in relation to certain development within the curtilage of a dwellinghouse. It also adds World Heritage Sites to the list of land defined in the GPDO as “article 1(5) land” and makes minor amendments to the permitted development rights in Part 40 of Schedule 2 to the GPDO in relation to the installation of domestic microgeneration equipment.
