Abstract
Gives recommendations on the factors to be considered in the design and provision of emergency lighting systems to ensure identified hazards in buildings are met. Covers the need for emergency lighting, specific locations where emergency lighting might be needed, portable emergency luminaires, testing, maintenance and record keeping, annual full duration testing. Includes a compliance checklist.
