Abstract

Focuses on the design, installation, maintenance and operation of electrical services, communications, medical gases (terminal units), lighting and other patient care services required at the bedhead and at other in-patient locations in all types of healthcare premises. Also covers the legal, mandatory and functional requirements of bedhead services, as well as some design applications. Applies to new and existing sites and is for use at various stages during inception, design, construction, refurbishment and maintenance of a building.
