Abstract
Introduces the government’s agenda. Addresses drivers as well as sustainability’s relevance to, and impact on, health. Defines the roles, responsibilities and issues that should be considered throughout a building’s life. Describes the level of engagement required at each stage of the capital development process. Includes a process flowchart and case studies intended to demonstrate the successful accomplishment of best practice design and procurement of sustainable buildings.
