Abstract

Relates to the Harbour works (environmental impact assessment) (amendment) (England and Wales) regulations 2009. SI 2009/269, which amends the procedures governing applications for Harbour Orders under the Harbours Act 1964 where the applications relate to approval for Harbour Works. The amendments affect the procedures governing the supply and advertisement of information about the environmental impacts of the works and the public's involvement in the decision making process, and in particular they provide for the handling of environmental information supplied after that initially supplied with the application.
