Abstract
Introduces the structure and process of BRE Global’s sustainable development framework, which provides a practical approach to implementing national, regional and local planning policy requirements, and economic, environmental and social sustainability objectives for development projects. Intended to enable developers, planning consultants and local planning authorities to demonstrate and verify the extent to which these requirements and objectives are met within master-plans put forward for planning approval. Explains regional sustainability checklists, GreenPrint and other compliant assessment methodologies.
