Considers the different systems available and the types of structures that ICF can be used for. Covers the general design considerations and the structural regulations, codes and standards. Refers to requirements for sound insulation and noise, thermal insulation, and fire performance, and desirable performance for flood resilience, environmental sustainability, security and durability, and shows how ICF can meet these requirements. Details the design of unreinforced and reinforced ICF walls to Eurocode 2 and BS 8110. Addresses construction methods and workmanship.
