For use where the main contract is a JCT contract and/or, for a small sub-contract package of work or one that is of straightforward content with low risk involved.

Document History

JCT 2005 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2011. Replaces JCT short form of Domestic Sub contract. Updates the 2007 revision. The principal revision is the incorporation of sustainability provisions, following JCT’s consultation, and provisions building on OGC’s Achieving Excellence criteria. Aspects of the payment provisions have been modified while awaiting the outcome of the proposed payment legislation.
