Abstract

For use where the main contract is the Intermediate Building Contract or Intermediate Building Contract with contractor's design; and where the sub-contractor is named to carry out sub-contract works, whether or not they include design.

Document History

JCT 2005 Contracts should not be used for construction contracts entered into after 1 October 2011. Updates the 2007 revision. The principal revision is the incorporation of sustainability provisions, following JCT’s consultation, and provisions building on OGC’s Achieving Excellence criteria. Aspects of the payment provisions have been modified while awaiting the outcome of the proposed payment legislation.
