Abstract
The BUILD UP initiative supports EU Member States in implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) by supplying access to a wide range of information on best practices, technologies and legislation for energy reduction through a dedicated interactive web portal. Much of the information is supplied by the users themselves. This article looks at the initiative, and what it aims to offer. The Briefing also provides current awareness over a number of construction-related fields and subjects.
