Abstract
Seeks views and feedback to improve the SAP, with further revisions taking place in 2012 and 2015, in line with changes to the Part L of the Building Regulations. Topics under consideration in this review include extremely low energy dwellings, adoption of a monthly calculation, use of updated weather data, carbon dioxide emission factors, boiler systems, inclusion of thermal mass and cooling calculations, hot water energy use, auxiliary energy use and internal heat gains and number of occupants in relation to floor area.
