Abstract
A review of the SAP is underway in this consultation package. Presenting the principles and procedure for calculating the SAP rating, covering ventilation, heat losses, domestic hot water, internal gains, solar gains and utilisation factor, internal temperature, climatic data, space heating, energy use and fuel costs, carbon dioxide emissions and primary energy, the dwelling emissions rate (DER) and building regulations and CO2 emissions associated with appliances.
