Abstract

Sets out the case for climate change adaptation and, in particular, argues that people or places facing poverty and disadvantage must not be disproportionately affected by climate change, or by policy or practice responses to it.

Comprises the first Green and Blue Space Adaptation for Urban Areas and Eco-towns (GRaBS) project Expert Paper. This document was produced during the GRaBS campaign from 2009-2011 and has not been modified since; therefore caution may be needed in applying it to today's context.
