Abstract

Provides principles and application rules for the structural design of bearing piles and sheet piles made of steel. Also provides examples of detailing for foundation and retaining wall structures, and application rules for steel piles filled with concrete.

Document History

Supersedes IS ENV 1993-5:1998. To enable EN 1993-5 to be used in Ireland the Nationally Determined Parameters will be published in a National Annex after public consultation has taken place. Corrigendum dated May 2009.
