Abstract

Specifies the requirements for laminated veneer lumber for structural applications. Requirements encompass veneers, bonding quality, dimensions and tolerances, strength, stiffness, density, moisture content, reaction to fire, release of formaldehyde, and natural durability against biological attack. Presents tests to be used, methods to carry out the evaluation of conformity, and content of the marking of the product. Does not cover laminated veneer lumber treated against biological attack or fire.
