Abstract
Comprises letter to Chief Planning Officers at local authorities confirming that, as part of the Area Based Grant (ABG) announced by Ministers on 26 November 2009, they have now received the second year of the grant provided to reflect the new burdens on local planning authorities from the Planning Policy Statement 1 (PPS1) supplement on planning for climate change. An update is also provided on some of the recent work on related climate change initiatives.
