Abstract

Provides characteristics and test methods for fitness for purpose for PVC-u piping systems intended for use in water supply, buried or above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure systems, also applying to PVC-u joints and assemblies with components of PVC-u, other plastics and non-plastics materials. They are intended for use in water mains and services buried in the ground; to convey water above ground for both outside and inside buildings and also for buried and above-ground drainage and sewerage under pressure. Applies to piping systems used for water supply under pressure up to and including 25°C (cold water), that is intended for human consumption and for general purposes and also for waste water under pressure.
