Abstract

Focussing on energy management in relation to the environment, the types of energy supply and utility companies, competition in energy supply, energy and transport and carbon dioxide emissions, renewable energy, energy analysis techniques, energy audits, project investment appraisal, energy monitoring, targeting and waste, energy efficiencies in heating, air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, electrical services, heating, waste heat recovery, combined heat and power (CHP) and passive solar and low energy building design.
