Abstract
Offers guidance for carrying out asbestos surveys to determine the deterioration of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in premises. Establishes the legal requirements and important health and safety issues. Describes the purpose of asbestos survey, covering types, strategy and restrictions. Sets out the steps to be followed, what information is to be recorded, survey plan and report and covers health and safety and risk assessment plans.
