Abstract
Relates to the Environmental permitting (England and Wales) (amendment) regulations 2010. SI 2009/Draft, which widen the environmental permitting and compliance system to cover water discharge consent (DC), groundwater authorisation (GW) and radioactive substance regulation authorisation (RSR) and the outcomes of the Waste Exemptions Order review. The regulations will also take into account waste from mining and include provision for batteries.
