Abstract

Relates to the Offshore marine conservation (natural habitats, etc.) (amendment) regulations 2010. SI 2010/491, which transpose the Wild Birds Directive (Council Directive 79/409/EEC) and the Habitats Directive (Council Directive 92/43/EEC) in relation to the UK’s jurisdiction over (a) the UK sector of the continental shelf, and (b) any part of the waters within British fishery limits, excluding the internal waters of and territorial sea adjacent to the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
