Abstract
Relates to the Notification of conventional tower cranes regulations 2010. SI 2010/333, which require an employer who installs a conventional tower crane on a construction site, to notify certain information about the crane to the health and safety enforcing authorities. The information notified identifies the crane, its owner, the location of the site and provides details relating to the thorough examination required before the crane can be first put into service on site and periodically thereafter.
