Abstract
Intended to assist with the selection of smoke seals for the purpose of meeting the regulatory recommended leakage rate of 3m³/m/hr at 25Pa for existing doors. Covers purpose and fitting of seals, general guidance, durability, and specific guidance on generic types of seals. Distinguishes seals for fitting to head and jambs of doorsets, for use on double-leaf doors, and for use at thresholds.
