Abstract

Introduces the Building Regulations 2010 which set out the functional requirements for buildings when constructed and procedures for the control of building works by local authorities. Supported by the Approved Documents which contain detailed practical guidance on compliance. The Building (approved inspectors etc.) regulations 2010 make provision for a private sector building control system as an alternative to local authority controls.
