Abstract
Provides a cost-benefit analysis (CBA) for additional residential heat and smoke alarms in all new dwellings in Scotland. Describes the study looking at baseline risk level, cost-benefit calculation, net present value, uncertainty analysis and research into the effectiveness of smoke alarms.
