World heritage for the nation - identifying, protecting and promoting our world heritage: Government response to a consultation

Abstract

The Government's response to the review of its world heritage policy to help determine whether the UK should continue to nominate sites for inscription on the World Heritage List and what more can be done for existing sites. The Government has decided to draw up a new UK Tentative List of sites for future nominations as a result of the review.
