Abstract

Comprises seventy abstracts of reports, conference papers, books and journal articles which focus on injuries to adult vehicle users in different types of traffic accidents including motorcycles, such as rear-end collisions, head on collisions, side impacts and over turning. Also looks at measures in vehicle design to prevent injuries such as air bags, seats and head restraints. Also includes methods of predicting injuries from traffic accidents and simulation experiments.
