Abstract

Sets out the changes that have been made Edition 3 (July 2010) of Planning Policy Wales (PPW) which are contained in the new Edition 4 (February 2011). Edition 4 of PPW incorporates changes to: Section 4.2 Planning for Climate Change to include a summary of the Assembly Government’s ‘Climate Change Strategy for Wales’ published in October 2010; Section 12.11 Planning for Sustainable Buildings to update the policy following the updated of the Code for Sustainable Homes in November 2010; and Sections 12.8-10 Renewable and Low Carbon Energy which set out the Assembly Government's updated planning policy on renewable and low carbon energy following public consultation in 2010.
